How to Obtain a User License

SongBank was written as a service to the Lord. As such, it is distributed for free. However, the material it deals with is copyrighted and has to be dealt with in accordance with the law. For this reason, use of the web archive is enabled only for those with a valid CCLI license and all material in the archive must be handled in accordance with the CCLI License.

Licenses are obtained over the internet with a combination of web access and emails. You must first download and install the latest version of Song-Bank from our website (click here for instructions) and then follow these procedures:

User must fill in all fields of the User Identification Dialog and then use the License Status Dialog to request a license by email. When the email has been sent, Song-Bank also sends additional information to the license server on the internet. Once the email has been received and the information verified, the user may be requested to fill out a form with additional information. The user can check the status of the license using the License Status Dialog.

If you do not have a CCLI license or are not an active member of an organization that does you can still use this software. We still require you to provide us with your contact information and you will be given permission to print and export files from Song-Bank. You will not be given access to the web archive as this material is copyrighted.
